Panasonic picks NorthgateArinso ResourceLink Aurora for zero-footprint HR delivery
Panasonic Europe Ltd, a leading supplier of consumer and business electronics products, has selected NorthgateArinso’s ResourceLink Aurora solution to unify its UK HR and payroll operations, deliver increased functionality and support the introduction of new HR services from its UK shared service centre.
Panasonic is an early adopter of ResourceLink Aurora, the next generation of the popular integrated HR and payroll solution, which enables the platform to be delivered ‘on-demand’. It will be delivered directly to the HR team, with a zero ‘footprint’ on the IT infrastructure reducing the reliance on IT support. This was a key driver for Panasonic’s new HR team, who are keen to implement the solution and realise the benefits that will support their new HR strategy into 2010.
ResourceLink Aurora will be used in the UK as a shared service to process the payroll and manage the HR for five Panasonic companies based across three offices in the UK. Until now, this has required ten separate payrolls, with no integration with current HR processes. NorthgateArinso was able to move quickly and deliver the new payroll to a tight timescale, in line with Panasonic’s business priorities.

Following the go-live of HR and payroll, Richard Mills plans to extend Panasonic’s use of ResourceLink Aurora to include flexible benefits and self-service HR during 2010. Being able to work with a single supplier to add these services, ensuring data integration was another priority for Richard.
Because of the versatility of ResourceLink Aurora it can be delivered on-premise, on-demand, as an outsourced service or a combination of the three. This enables Panasonic to choose the delivery model most appropriate for the business as it develops.
