Managing HR risks at the front line

The business of employing people is fraught with risk. Organisations spend considerable sums on designing and implementing policies, processes and systems to help them control that risk. Yet in many cases those organisations are leaving themselves exposed because the people relied upon to execute many policies - front-line managers –- are not properly equipped to do the job required of them.
